Frequently asked questions
Is this PDF editor free and safe?
Yes. Every tool is free with no sign-up and no watermark. Your files are processed inside your own browser and are never uploaded to our server.
Can I edit the existing text in a PDF?
Use Replace text: drag a box over the old words to cover them with the page colour, then type the new words on top. PDFs store text as fixed letters rather than paragraphs, so this is how PDF editors change existing wording.
How do I sign a PDF online?
Open Sign & fill, draw or type your signature, then press Place signature. Drag it into position, resize it from the corner and press Download signed PDF. You can also add your name, today's date and tick marks.
How much can the compressor shrink a PDF?
Scanned PDFs and PDFs full of photos often become 50–90% smaller with Strong compression. Text-only PDFs are usually small already. If a result is not smaller, the tool keeps your original file.
Can I type in Urdu or other languages?
Yes. English text is added as real, searchable PDF text. Urdu, Arabic, Hindi and emoji are added as a sharp image of the text, so they always look right.
Why does my PDF say it is protected?
Password-protected PDFs cannot be edited until the protection is removed. If you know the password, open the PDF in Chrome, choose Print, then Save as PDF to make an unprotected copy, and use that copy here.
